The Enrichment Learn-to-Swim program follows a comprehensive international curriculum that hybrids all elements of USA, UK and Singapore swimming proficiency levels, as taught by our USA, UK and Singapore certified swim teachers. Participants attend bi-weekly swimming classes designed to teach them the fundamentals of both water safety and swimming skills through a progressive 5-stage course and receive certificates of achievement as well as swim caps in recognition of their progress. These classes are offered by the OFS Enrichment Program Team throughout the academic year.
This program uses FUNdamentals to introduce swimming to young children, doing so in a safe and controlled environment. Featuring a tight swimmer-to-coach ratio of one to four, instructors remain in the water with the participants and provide instruction in the 4 competitive strokes. A goal of this program is to prepare participants to be proficient enough to move into the Pre-Competitive or ASSP Swim Squad.
The ES Competitive Swim Team takes on a more rigorous training load building upon the skills acquired in the Enrichment Learn-to-Swim program.
Practice times are longer in conjunction with higher yardage/distance requirements as well as having sessions swimming alongside the older MS and HS Competitive Teams. The increases in physical demands require that swimmers regularly attend practices. Swimmers will learn to understand interval training and will learn how to train at different effort levels and speeds.
There will also be a greater emphasis on race strategies. This group emphasizes competing at ACSIS JS/MS/HS, as well as competing at SNAGs and Open Nationals and will feature a World Cup potential, which is reserved for athletes who have not only attained World Cup Qualification but are also committed to consistently training at the highest possible level.

Swimmers are typically welcome in this group based upon age and ability level. The OFS Swim Coaches strive to ensure that there is a place for all athletes who have a desire to swim competitively, whether the swimmer is new to year-round swimming or is preparing to compete at the national or international level. The coaching staff is also careful to maintain a swimmer-to-coach ratio that allows for an optimal teaching environment. While this team is designed to train athletes in the Grade 6 and up, not all of these athletes will always train together.
The MS and HS team is typically divided into two groups, as well as further separated into stroke specific and training volume demands, though the group classifications may change from year-to-year depending on the needs and numbers of the program, as well as the vision and philosophy of the coaching staff. This group emphasizes competing at ACSIS JS/MS/HS as well as competing at SNAGs and Open Nationals and will feature a World Cup potential, which is reserved for athletes who have not only attained World Cup Qualification but are also committed to consistently training at the highest possible level.
