Languages Week is a vibrant celebration of the diverse Foreign and Mother Tongue languages spoken and learned at OFS. Throughout the week, students will enjoy a variety of fun and engaging activities that explore the richness of language and culture.
Join us for the MYP Personal Project Exhibition showcasing our Grade 10 students' achievements in the Personal Project. This event highlights their creativity and growth throughout the IB Middle Years Program. Grade 9 parents are also invited to explore what lies ahead for their children.
Kindergarten invites all parents to our Internationalism Celebration, a joyous event where we honor the rich intercultural diversity of our Kindergarten community. Students and parents are encouraged to come dressed in their national costumes or wear clothing that represents the colors of their countries or flags.
The celebration will begin with a concert performed by our Kindergarten children, featuring a flag processional followed by a presentation of songs and dances from around the world. The event will conclude with a potluck lunch in the classrooms, organized by the parents.
The Deepavali (or "Diwali") celebration offers a rich and enjoyable learning experience for the children. They will have the opportunity to explore Indian culture and learn about the significance of this "Festival of Lights" through hands-on activities. Children are invited to come to school dressed in Indian attire.

The Art Exhibition is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and originality. The selected pieces, inspired by their IPC Units of Work, highlight a range of artistic skills and creative use of different media.
Respecting, understanding, and appreciating different cultures and beliefs is an important part of our curriculum. The Holiday Concert reflects this focus, as we celebrate a variety of festivals, holidays and traditions from around the world.
Middle School Examinations are just one part of the ongoing IB MYP assessments. It also gives our students 'real life' practice and experience with stringent examination conditions expected at High School, especially for external examinations.
The Grade 5 students are looking forward to their MUN experience and General Assembly. They will take on the role of delegates representing countries from around the world. Their discussions will focus on key issues related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, promoting global awareness and collaborative problem-solving.

The 'Middle School Talent Show' showcases the diverse and impressive talents of our Middle School students. Previous acts have included music and dance performances, poetry reading, mime artists and magicians, to name a few. Students will audition throughout the week, with the selected finalists performing in the live Talent Show on Friday, 12 December 2025.
The ES Lunchtime Concerts are a great opportunity for students to share their talents with the school community. Whether it's playing an instrument, singing, or dancing, students are invited to audition for a chance to perform. Auditions take place a few weeks before each concert, giving performers time to prepare and shine on stage!
There will be 3 day/2 night grade level camps for all Middle School students throughout the school year. These prove to be an invaluable experience for building social cohesion, moving beyond one’s comfort zone and enjoying the opportunity of outdoor education. Students are encouraged to attend their respective camps. Grade 6 will only be 1 night.
A group of our students will be heading to Tanglin Trust School this December to take part in TMUN 2025! Known for its dynamic debates, student-led organisation, and focus on real-world global issues, Tanglin MUN is a highlight for our participating students. It's a fantastic opportunity for our students to connect with peers from around the region, build their confidence, and sharpen their skills in diplomacy, research, and public speaking.
