Talk on Drug and Crime Prevention

The Parent Association (PA) invites all parents/guardians to A Talk on Crime and Drug Prevention. The talk will be given by Police Officers from The Central Narcotics Bureau and Pasir Ris Neighbourhood Police Centre.

The Police Officers will share information about:

• common youth crimes in Singapore such as cybercrimes, fighting/rioting
• drug abuse, including the telltale signs and myths about drug abuse
• controlled substances (drugs and inhalants) in Singapore
• misuses of Drugs Act and Intoxicating Substances Act — offence and penalties
• advisory on consumption of controlled drugs outside Singapore
• how parents can be more involved in preventing their children from taking drugs
• police procedures in the event that the students are involved in any of the above
