Connecting to OFS Community Server

From your personal computer

Mac OS X / macOS

  1. Launch Finder, then go to Go > Connect to Server... menu.

  2. Enter the Server Address as "https://www.ofs.edu.sg/webdav/" in the Connect to Server dialog and click Connect.

  3. Enter your OFS login name and password in the screen below and click Connect.

  4. You can now access your network files.

Windows

To connect network files from home you need to download and install a free application called 'Cyberduck'.

  1. Go to Cyberduck's website and click on Download Cyberduck for Windows.

  2. Click on Install.

  3. Launch Cyberduck, go to 'Bookmark' and click on the '+' button.

  4. In the FTP dialog box choose 'WebDav (HTTPS)'.

  5. Enter these values on the dialog:
    Server: www.ofs.edu.sg,
    Port: 443
    Username: <your OFS login name>
    Path: /webdav/

  6. Go to back to Cyberduck and connect to the new OFS WebDav connection. Enter:
    Username: <your OFS login name>
    Password: <your OFS password>

  7. Cyberduck will take you to your server folders. You should now be able to access files from the server.
